Summit Journal, the official publication of AFIRE, has officially named its inaugural editorial board, which will provide editorial guidance and peer review for the award-winning journal beginning in 2022.
Published multiple times per year in digital and print formats, Summit features articles and original ideas and research from investors, executive leaders, and academics from around the world, focused on the research and analysis of real estate capital markets, cross-border issues, policy, demographics, technology trends, and management topics.
The addition of an editorial board to AFIRE’s dynamic publishing program will serve to elevate the quality of the content and the conversation by thought leaders within and beyond AFIRE’s influential membership of nearly 200 global organizations representing approximately $3 trillion AUM.
The voices of the editorial board will also contribute to the ongoing conversation generated by Summit contributors through the journal’s transparent peer review process, which will also be implemented beginning in 2022.
Informed by the Open Access standards of publishing accessibility and openness, transparent peer review is an emerging peer review style that disambiguates the review process. Reviewer responses are published alongside the original contributed articles to foster open conversation that complements AFIRE’s core mission of helping each other become Better Investors, Better Leaders, and Better Global Citizens.
